Day 1: Arrival
Welcome to Aruba! After arriving, settle into your accommodation and take some time to relax and unwind. You might want to explore the immediate area around your hotel or resort, grab a bite to eat, and perhaps take a stroll along the beach to soak in the stunning Caribbean views.
Day 2: Baby Beach
Morning:
- Start your day with a visit to Baby Beach, known for its calm, shallow waters ideal for swimming and snorkeling. Soak up the sun and explore the underwater world of colorful marine life.
Afternoon:
- Pack up to go back to your accommodation to wash up and get ready for a nice evening out.
- If you have time, you can stop by the Red Anchor and Stairs into the Sea. There are also some donkeys on the road.
Evening:
- Head to Opus for a delightful dinner at 7 pm. Enjoy a fine dining experience with a fusion of international flavors and Caribbean influences.
- After dinner, walk around the waterfront area near Renaissance Marina.
Day 3: Eagle Beach
Morning:
- Relax on the soft, white sands or take a dip in the crystal-clear turquoise waters at Eagle Beach, consistently ranked as one of the world’s best beaches. Tip: Stay on the southern side of the beach. Northern side has a smell coming from wastewater treatment facility.
Evening:
- Indulge in fresh seafood at Wacky Wahoo’s, a local favorite known for its casual atmosphere and delicious seafood dishes. The wait can be long but it’s worth it.
Day 4: Oranjestad & Sunset Cruise
Morning:
- Start your day with a scrumptious brunch at the Dutch Pancake House, offering a variety of sweet and savory Dutch pancakes.
Afternoon:
- Explore Oranjestad, Aruba’s charming capital city, known for its colorful Dutch colonial architecture, vibrant street art, and bustling markets. Jump on a free trolley around town.
- Don’t forget to take a souvenir photo at I Love Aruba sign by the port.
Evening:
- Enjoy a cruise, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the sunset over the Caribbean Sea, with drinks, snacks and music. We booked this cruise from Pelican Adventures and really enjoyed it!
- After the cruise, dine at Azia, a contemporary Asian fusion restaurant offering a unique culinary experience.
Day 5: Casibari Rock Formations, Bushiribana Ruins, Cave Pool, Wariruri Bridge
Morning:
- Explore Aruba’s rugged terrain and natural wonders today. Book a day tour or drive on your own.
- Begin with a visit to the Casibari Rock Formations, where you can hike among ancient boulders and enjoy panoramic views of the island.
Afternoon:
- Next, discover the historic Bushiribana Ruins, remnants of Aruba’s gold mining past. Then, cool off in the Cave Pool, a natural swimming hole formed by volcanic rock.
- Visit the Wariruri Bridge, the largest natural bridge in Aruba, and marvel at its impressive rock formations and coastal views.
Evening:
- Relax at your accommodation or go out to enjoy the nightlife at Palm Beach Village.
Day 6: Arashi Beach
Morning:
- Spend the day exploring the northern coast of Aruba. Start with a visit to Tres Trapi for early morning snorkeling to avoid crowds and catch a glimpse of sea turtles in their natural habitat.
- Next, continue your snorkeling adventure at Boca Catalina, known for its vibrant coral reefs and marine life.
Afternoon:
- Visit the iconic California Lighthouse for panoramic views of the coastline and surrounding landscape.
- Spend the rest of the day on Arashi Beach for some sunbathing and snorkeling.
Evening:
- Watch the beautiful sunset from Arashi Beach before heading back to rest for the night.
Day 7: Manchebo Beach
On your final day, relax and soak up the sun at Manchebo Beach. Lounge on the soft sands, take a refreshing swim in the turquoise waters, and enjoy drinks and snacks at Matthew’s beachside bar.
